DESCRIPTION:Butterflies\, Models\, Fabric Motion\, and More! \nHands-on guided photography instruction with Michael Cooney at the Butterfly Gardens of Wisconsin in Appleton. \nSaturday\, August 13th | 9:00am-11:00am | $85 (includes admission to the garden) \nLearn about the basics of butterfly photography including composition\, lens choice\, minimum focus distance considerations\, depth of field\, and use of burst mode. The class will have exclusive access to the butterfly enclosure to ensure maximum photo opportunities. \nStudents will also have the opportunity to develop their portrait photography techniques with our guest models in the overlook\, gardens\, and prairie environment. The skills acquired can be applied to your family and friends. \nExplore fabric motion photography by experimenting with stop action\, motion blur and painting\, visual flow\, and zoomed lens techniques. A tripod will be required for this. \nA “shoot brief” which details equipment recommendations and camera skills needed to fully experience the photographic opportunities will be provided upon enrollment. \nClass will meet up on-site. \nRegister here
