Big Bay Birdathon & Photo Contest 2013
Hosted by the Northeastern Wisconsin Audubon Society, the Big Bay Birdathon is an annual event that challenges bird watchers to find as many species of birds they can in a 24 hour period. Participants have from 4:00 pm on May 10, to 4:00 pm the following day to travel the state recording their sightings. They will then met at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary to share their findings and have a chance to win prizes.
If species identification isn’t your thing but cameras are, there’s also a photography contest running the week of May 4 through 11th. No stock photos are allowed, you must shoot, edit, and submit your entries during the contest time frame.
Registration is required for both events, so click here to get registered today!
