Sony Snowstorm Ball Toss Winner Announced
May 18, 2012 – Camera Corner Connecting Point and SONY Electronics is proud to present a 32” KDL32x720 SONY HDTV to the winner of the Green Bay Blizzard Snowstorm Toss, Morgan Nachtwey.
May 11, 2012 ended as a winning night for more than just the Green Bay Blizzard Indoor Football Team, who defeated Lehigh Valley 76-61. One lucky fan would complete the unlikely throw of a football into a Blizzard helmet resting in the middle of the arena to win the grand prize of a SONY HD TV. This contest is held during half time at each Blizzard home game. Fans can purchase a “snowstorm ball” for $1.00 and the chance to win a SONY TV or one of two DVD players. The two balls that land closest to the DVD players, win the players but in order to win the SONY TV the ball must land in the Blizzard helmet. In the two years since the Green Bay Blizzard has been hosting this game, no one has won the TV, until the night of May 11th when 17-year-old Morgan Nachtwey heaved a football and it landed inside the helmet. The ball was purchased by David Lesperance of Menominee, MI. David is a season ticket holder with seats next to Steve Nachtwey, Morgan’s dad. David purchased the ball, handed it to Morgan and Morgan made the winning throw.
Morgan, her dad Steve and David were all present as Ryan Chernick, Vice President of Corporate Sales for Camera Corner Connecting Point, presented Morgan with the TV.
